This partnership underscores our joint efforts as we launch the upcoming course, "Reframing Blackness," led by the esteemed art historian Alayo Akinkugbe. This transformative five-week course challenges historical oversights and enriches the discourse around Black narratives in art. Participants will delve into the representation of Black figures in Western art, explore the presence of Blackness within museum spaces, and critically examine curatorial practices that have historically been overlooked.

Deepen understanding of the historical portrayal of Black figures in Western art.
